Quick homemade Mango Icecream

For the past few weeks, I've been baddddd..really bad. I'm addicted to Mangoes! Every time I go to the Indian store closest to my house, they have these delicious Kent mangoes. These are juicy, sweet, 0 fiber and just great. I can't stop eating them!

My cousin and his family were coming over for dinner last night and I wanted to make a simple and yet satisfying desert. And my mind could only think of mangoes...!!

So, I picked a couple of ripe ones. Peeled them and cut it up into big pieces. Can you just see how good these are. Jollu....

Throw the mangoes in a blender. Add a cup of milk and about 1/2 - 1 cup of sugar. I had some whipped cream in my house. So, I added that in here too. If you don't add some heavy cream or condensed milk - that works great too. I make a mango kulfi quite often - will blog about that soon but that uses condensed milk and evaporated milk. Hence, I know.

Give it a Whirrrrrrrrr. Until its nice and smooth.

Can you see that? Can you almost taste that???

Pour it from the blender to a bowl and cover and freeze. Maybe I should have used another bowl that was not the color of the mangoes!!

And there it is. Sinful. Satisfying. Daily serving of fruit! LOL! Enjoy!

I think I should have a contest - guess what shape the ice cream is?! I think I can see a man's nose - looks like one of the dwarfs from Snow white! Or may the devil just letting me know I should not be eating so much mangoes! What do you think?
